Great bar staff and what seems to be a friendly crowd of regulars mixed with visitors.

I had a sampler of 5 main beers on tap, and also had their "Brune". The Brune is served in a generous goblet. My favorite beers were their Hopgasm IPA and the Brune. The selection of beer isn't huge, but the beer they offer is quite good.

The burger was quite messy to eat, but thoroughly enjoyable with a generous pile of fries. The rest of the menu has a mixture of pub grub with up-scale dining.

Five Seasons is probably Atlanta's finest example of a brewpub. Chef Larkworthy brings a strong passion for the art and science of brewing, with a steady rotation of seasonals. Most recently I had the Blackbird Porter - an ideal winter beer, with strong coffee tones and great mouth feel. A must-sample on every visit is the ChugMonkey - a session-worthy Golden Ale with flavor - it will sneak up on you! The food is excellent as well. I'm partial to the porkchop, but they have lighter fare as well. About the only drawback is their lack of selection of beer other then their own. While this has never been a problem for me - they brew many a mean beer - others looking for a specific craft beer had better stick with Brick Store or another one of our excellent beer bars in town. I highly recommend Five Seasons - for food and beer. I understand they are opening a new one right in Midtown as well!

Everything about this place is something that attracts you. I have to say, I was impressed.

Starting off with the atmosphere, there is plenty of ski-lodge like wood interior that isn't clogged or cluttered by a bunch of random things on the wall. The light is also dimmed at dinner time. There is an outside patio, which was closed when I was there. There is plenty of inside room, as well as a bar with a clear view of the brewing equipment. There is also an aquarium next to the bar, if you like those things.

The food was delicious. It reminded me of a fancy restaurant in my area. It's more of a "club" restaurant, and it is more upscale. The menu is somewhat limited, being on only one side of a sheet menu, but you will probably find something you like.

At any time, they have five beers selected on tap. Their website has a long list of beers, but they only serve five at a time. They are all fresh, and of the three I had (Sledgehammer, Munich Helles, and the Wee Heavy) they were all fantastic.

This is a place to bring the family for a nice dinner, or just hang out at the bar (which is open later than the rest of the restaurant) for a few beers with a friend. I highly recommend this place.
