We stopped here just around opening time at 75th Street Brewery, a nearly 20 year old brewpub. The place has an aged look and is fairly dark. The distressed wood bar and the old fashioned taps reminded me of a classic German biergarten. The tiny brewhouse itself peeks out from behind glass right in the center of the place, and can be seen from all sides. We bellied up to the nearly empty bar and struck up a conversation with the pleasant bartender and brewer there, who had both closed down the place the night before.

The beers here were mostly classic brewpub fare with the Irish Red, Pale Ale, Etc. The Muddy Mo Stout was probably the best thing there, with none of the other beers truly standing out as good or bad. The Parmesan fries with truffle aoli were heavenly though! They have a mug club where you can keep your own 1 liter mug behind the bar for frequent visitors, and we briefly met one of these elite members during our brief stay here. I would go back here, but it wouldn't be my first stop when in KC.

I've been here twice. The food is good. The atmosphere is nice for a restaurant, but the bar area feels right... for a bar guy like myself.

The beer is... well it's alright. Their Stout is my favorite of the bunch. You may as well stop here if you are going to Waldo Pizza down the street, so have a sampler... maybe you'll like the beer better than I do.

One thing that I do enjoy is they usually have 3-4 guest beers on tap that can be fairly eclectic.

Being my first visit, I wasn't sure what to expect from the 75th Street Brewery. It has won "Best Brewpub - Kansas City" for several years from the local city-scene magazine, and while these "awards" can always be deceiving, this time, the citizens of KC were dead right. This place was great.

75th Street Brewery offers a wide selection of beers, and a very knowledgeable staff that is quite capable of offering very good suggestions. With free samples, as well as a 5-beer sampler, you can get a quick taste of every beer they have to offer.

The atmosphere inside was great, unique, family friendly, and stressed the local flavor and individuality of KC. The food was equally good and diverse. Parking outside is limited on the street, but there is a parking lot only a block away. A decent selection of gifts, and growlers are available to go.

Definitely a great place to dine and enjoy some great local beer. Highly recommended.

This was my second and is not going to be my last visit to 75th street brewery. Other than the limited parking the place is great. Their std IPA is very good they also had an ESB that was nice, but a little watery, they also had a belgian ale on tap which tasted good as well. The food is great, broad menu of great choices. The staff is polite, patient and very knowledgeable. It fun but family friendly as well.

This must be a popular pub for locals. It has a comfortable neighborhood feel and friendly service. There is a long U-shaped bar with additional tall table seating that is separated from the general dining areas by the brewing room. They also have indoor balcony seating (the Nest) and a Family Room. There were seven house brews and a guest tap when I visited. I settled for a mug of Muddy Mo Irish Stout which was excellent. I’m sorry we had already decided to head on down the road because the menu includes a great selection of pizza, salads, sandwiches and entrees with spent grain bread. Parking is available in a fair sized lot out back.

75th Street Brewery is the perfect neighborhood brewpub. The regulars in the place are friendly to everyone and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The stout and IPA's are excellent and the raspberry wheat is a great summer beer.

They tap a cask beer every other Friday night and the cask doesn't last long. The seasonal beers are a bit spotty and not super adventurous but overall worth a try.

75th Street is also family friendly as well as a great place to go for drinks. The bar is large and well separated from the dining area.

A KC original. 75th has been around for awhile.

I enjoyed the Good Hope IPA. Hoppy with a noticable alcohol content. No fooling around with this brew, make sure you don't have to get behind the wheel shortly after imbibing this one.

The atmosphere at 75th was marginal, service just OK and the location is not the best in town. Parking was limited.

Annoyances: While I enjoyed the beer (it WAS beer, after all), it's not likely I'll be back unless by chance. 75th doesn't make my 'A' grade list.
