linkOochie-Mama!! Wada-Store. In addition to a crap-load of great beers, the store is a “Whole food-World market” kinda place… just about a block off of the interstate with ample parking.
An overwhelming selection and decent prices. Great American Micros, Belgian, German, English beers galore.
(OK, full disclosure. I just came over from a state-run Beer Store in Canada, and to say they sucked is an understatement akin to saying King Kong is tall. The comparison between the two probably increased my feeling of awe.)
As I perused, trying to figured out what to buy… what I can bring home… how much I felt like flying with, RJ, the beer/wine guy came to answer questions. Once he found out I was visiting, he took me around making recommendations… very helpful and accommodating.
This place is worth a major detour.
