There were eight beers on our visit. The IPA was respectable, if not terribly exciting.

The pub has a welcoming and good local pub vibe, making it a nice visit. They serve salted peanuts in the shell at the bar and the shells go right on the floor.

The pub is a good-sized space with good lighting due to the windows on two sides and the tall arched ceiling. The bar is made of a warm, lighter-colored wood and has a brass foot rail and stools. The floor is also wood and is fairly rustic looking. The rest of the room is filled with green-topped tables and wooden chairs. Hanging from the ceiling are various country flags and ceiling fans, but mostly the decorations are historic logging memorabilia - saws, axes, historic photos, etc. There’s also a great outdoor space with picnic tables, grass, and various plants.

Another random find driving along Highway 101. Found this in the parking lot of a Super 8. A lucky find though, an organic brewery, interesting building, extremely high ceilings and interesting decoration overall.

Tried the sampler, some very good some rather poor. Porter and Exultation IPA were winners. They also had a summer seasonal, I can't remember the name but it smelled and tasted like popcorn! It was surprisingly good.

Was in there pretty late night on a weeknight so there weren't too many people there. But the place could definitely accomodate a decent size crowd.

A good size bar occupies one wall in front of cluttered windows into the brew room. Tables fill the remaining dining room and there is a very nice patio/beer garden area with tables and a horseshoe pit. There were eight taps including both standards and seasonals. I opted for glasses so I could sample more and most enjoyed the Raven’s Eye Stout and the Triple Exultation. Also took a six pack of Organic IPA back to the room to wrap up the evening. The primary brewing is now done in Scotia but the on-site brewery does seasonal taps. The menu includes typical range from appetizers to burgers plus there are several special and upscale entrees for dinner. Smoked meats and ribs are great. There is plenty of offstreet parking.

Beautiful location, huge beer garden a stones throw from the Eel River.

America's first certified organic brewery! The new brewery is the first biomass powered brewery! Cool stuff.

Really great, simple but high quality food. Super meats.

8-10 on tap, all good. I prefer their bigger beers, like the Imperial Stout and the Porter. The new Triple Exultation is simply amazing.

Awesome place to have lunch and chat it up with the locals.
