Dry Dock Brewing is located in a strip mall with other shops and places to eat nearby. Adjacent to the brewery is a connected homebrewing store with an impressive offering of supplies. The building facade is white with blue trim and a bright yellow sign for the brewery. In front are several wooden picnic tables on narrow covered patio enclosed by thick dock rope. Enter at the corner of the building, and their 9-chair angled wooden bar is on the left. You can walk up for service and have a seat anywhere. The service is friendly, although a little slow to check on you, but is quick once your order is placed. On the right is a row of long high top tables, and in the back is a partitioned area of communal dining tables, a shuffleboard table, and racks of barrel aging beer. Behind the bar are large windows that look into the brewhouse. In front are their copper brewing vessels, and behind them are two rows of mid size stainless steel fermenters. In the back is raw material and keg storage. The decor is nautical themed, and the place is crowed with craft beer enthusiasts. Live music, movie night, or sports on the televisions provide entertainment. They have an impressive armada of 17 house crafts, which are typically named after boats or ships. The beers span an incredible variety of styles and are very well made. These can be had by pint or create-your-own six beer sampler flights. Near the bar is a small refrigerator with bottles and six packs of their beers for sale. They do not have a kitchen, but delivery is available from a diverse variety of nearby restaurants. They also offer complimentary popcorn which is nice. Dry Dock is a great craft brewery with a good atmosphere and tremendous beer.

I have been living in the area for about 8 years and I have no idea how I missed this place. smh
Great great beers! The usual are great and they always have something special/different on tap as well.
Since finding this place I have made several visits. Including the occasional stop to have a growler filled. The staff are all nice and very friendly. The place is always busy and always has a wonderful smell of beer being brewed. There is also a brewing supply shop connected for those that brew their own.
The one down side is that they do not server food. However they do allow food from other establishments. In fact they even have a 3 ring binder of laminated menus from places that will deliver to Dry Dock.
There is also a nice little roped off patio area that is great for those summer evenings.
Great place and highly recommended for those that are local and definitely worth a visit for those visiting the area!

Hanging out in Pueblo, Colorado one afternoon on the way to Parker to visit #2 son, we ran into another beer geek who recommend Dry Dock.
"Do not miss it," he said. "The beers are exceptional."
Well, anytime another "brother" offers up an un-solicited opinion, I take notice.
So yesterday, #2 son and & indulged ourselves and only one word occurs...Great God Almighty!
OK, OK so that was 3 but my goodness, this is a WONderful brewery. No food but free popcorn (as much as your little or big belly can handle) and an incredible selection of beer...many award winners from World Beer Cup or GABF.
ESB, IPA, Double IPA, Porter, Naked (or hand-pulled) Porter, Hefe, Saison...and we tried 'em all. 12 samplers and not a bad one in the bunch. Oh some we enjoyed more than others (thought the Naked Porter was a bit too watery on the tongue - loved the powerful banana nose and taste of the Hefe) but we sat and wiled away 2 hours.
The service was exceptional...the waittress very knowledgable and friendly...the atmosphere laid back (although why "Dry Dock" in this land-locked state is a puzzlement and no, I forgot to ask "why?")
So to my anonymous beer brother in Pueblo, should you stumble upon this here website and review, my loud and enduring "thanx" for the recommendation...and now I pass that along to you, my other beer brothers and sisters.
Enjoy!

This place is wonderful. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, and the beer is exceptional. All of the brewing equipment can be seen from the bar, and the smells are wonderful. The have a variety of board games to play with as well as free popcorn. I literally I have not had a beer here that I didn't think was exceptional, with some standouts being their Seven Seas double IPA and their Vanilla Porter. If you're in Denver for any reason, go to Dry Dock.

Very happy that they have expanded into the space next door. Originally was located in a laundry size room at the back of a brew supply store. Now it is a full size indoor/outdoor seating brewery. Expansion has also given them a lot more room for brewing. They have used this to provide a large selection (over a dozen) of their beers on tap. My personal favorites are the Hefeweizen and the vanilla porter. Both are full flavored with out going over the top and trying to be more than an excellent example of their styles.
GABF 2009 small brewing company of the year.
Give it a shot if you are in the area - you will not be disappointed.

Dry Dock is, without doubt, one of the premier breweries in a state full of great breweries. Kevin and the crew have done an outstanding job of consistently turning out excellent product. Also amazing is the variety of offerings: always 10-12 choices from the efforts of two brewmasters. One concentrates on German style lagers and the other on English style ales. Winner of several GABF and other awards, this is an outstanding brewery with great beers, great service and now a great atmosphere in their new facilities at Hampden and Chambers.

Nice little place. I really enjoyed the Russian Imperial Stout, but all the beers were quality. Bartenders are extremely good and the people that visit are good also. Connected to a home brew shop. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. You can bring food in with you and they have some popcorn. Plenty of seating. I believe they are expanding and moving into a space next door.
Dry Dock offers a sampler platter, 10oz glasses, pints and growlers.

If I had a nickel for every time I've been here and had a great time....well, I'd have a bunch of nickels that's for sure. Dry Dock never ceases to amaze me how good their beers are for a quaint pub nestled in a strip mall. The bartenders will talk beer with you until you've had enough and the customers are all pretty cool people too. Lots of regulars. They have bottomless popcorn, but you can bring in your own food or have some delivered. Awesome atmosphere with a real "house party" feel to it. Definately a place you need to check out when coming to Denver!
Oh, and every Friday is "Firkin Friday" where at 3PM they tap one of their regular ales that has been cask conditioned - sometimes with a little twist on it.
