One of the best bars in Seattle with a great tap lineup and lots of bottles. You can find some beers here you can't find anywhere else. But watch out for a bartender named Ken. He is a huge dick and will kick you out after two beers if you look at him wrong. He told me I had to leave because he had, "A problem with other people drinking too much." I have been going there for years and I was blown away by this. Since there are a plethora of awesome bars around Seattle with friendly service where you are warmly welcomed I will not be back. Instead of having an attitude of friendship and comradery with other bars and beer people in Seattle they fight with others and cause rifts in the beer community. Hey Uber, stick to the great beer and stop being dicks!!!
Uber Tavern Bartender Quotes:
Customer: "Hi I saw on twitter you guys just tapped Pliney the Elder, could I get one of those?"
Bartender: "That is what you get for following twitter, we don't have it, next."
Customer: "Could I get a lemon with my hefeweizen?"
Bartender: "If you said that in Germany you would get punched in the face."
Customer: "Hi, I saw the sign outside saying you guys have kegs to go, I would like to order one please."
Bartender: "Did you call ahead? You can't just fucking walk in here and get a keg man I'm too busy."
Note: Bad yelp reviews=kicked out of Uber Tavern for life

This is definitely a beer-lover's must-stop. About 20 taps and a large bottle selection of various styles, including cider and mead. Very friendly staff and the place was full of regulars when I was there. No food menu, but they let you bring food in.
Small place, but cozy and laid back. Parking may be a bit of a challenge as it's on a busy street, but there's a bus stop right out the front door. I can't wait to go back to this place. Unfortunately, I'm from out of town but will make a point to return whenever I can.

I have heard about Über for several years and finally I made the stop. Just a stones throw from the Fremont district this is a great place to visit for your serious beer needs. This is not for the newbie just getting there teeth wet for a light non hoppy ale with very little flavor. This place was made for the Beer Geek. They have a collection of beers that rivals with the best. On tap you can find Spaten, Avery, and new to the Pacific Northwest region was Southern Tier and you can find some very special Stone ales. These are just a few on the list. They have such an array of beers the Beer Geeks with Belgian, stout, hoppy and not so hoppy palates will find something. They even have meads on tap now that is cool. Still can not decide then take a look at the bottle list with over 100+ of some of the greatest beers in the world available the most sophisticated palate will find something to quench the thirst. So once you have found a special beer for your tasting pleasure sit back relax play a game or two watch the TV eat some munchies. If you’re really in the mood for a party grab a growler of your favorite tapped beverage and take that home you can even find a keg of something that will keep all your buddies happy. Parking is not abundant so find a side street park the car and in no time you will be there. The staff has great knowledge of the product and they can help the novice wade into the deep end of beer pool. This is a must stop when in Seattle. Über I will be back…

Kicks butt. Small in stature, vast in selection. If you are serious about beer, this is an essential stop in Seattle, maybe the country. The kind of place that always has something new, different, and usually not easy to find elsewhere. Along with Bottleworks, Brouwers, and Beveridge Place Pub, it's what makes Seattle a great beer bar town. One of their unique qualities is that they carry beers from all over: US, Belgium, Germany, Japan, Italy, Norway, etc...not just one or the other like many places. Very exotic beer list. Also, they tend to have a lot of strong ales if that's your things.

Greatest place in Seattle for beer. Probably the best place I've ever been to anywhere overall. I'd say they have about 20 taps & 150-200 bottles. More about beer loving than beer snobbing. Smart staff, very complex selection (thank god they have a detailed menu sorted by style), and great prices. Some of the more expensive beers are still cheap for what they are. Baladan Wayan Saison (form italy) 750ml for $16. I've seen it for 25 elsewhere. Just go and prepare to be blown away.
