The food is baller and you get new cold glasses with every beer what more can you ask for. It looks like a dive bar. Nuts all over the floor its great. I will make sure i keep going back here for the great atmosphere and riding the ferry drunk some time would be a good idea after going there. Try the IPA its the best beer they have there, make sure to bring some home also.

Their Industrial IPA is one of the best beers I have ever had. However, it may be too hoppy for some. It also needs to be treated with respect as it is high in alcohol.

Diamond Knot has three locations and the Mukilteo Ferry Landing is definitely the one with the most character; as well as being the most lively. Riley Street (right up the road) and the Camano Lodge are more restaurant facilities, while the Ferry Landing is a bar that serves food.

No doubt that this place gets packed. It is a popular place for people to hang out after work while they are waiting for a ferry to Whidbey Island or for folks coming from the island. If you want to get a seat in here you should arrive before 5 pm.

Good beer, good food, fun atmosphere - a must visit.

This is another one of them places that I feel is getting too big for its britches. And by that, i mean becoming too popular for the size of the place. I have never once gone in to Diamond knot after about 6pm and been able to get a seat within any decent amount of time. It's different in the lunch hours of course, but dinner time, it's tough to ever think of going here after all the trouble I've had getting seating.

Beer wise, this place is pretty middle of the road. Their porter is really the only beer that I have been overly impressed with, most of the others I've tried were just kinda "meh." Don't get me wrong, the quality is definitely there, I've just yet to be really blown away.

Foodwise, they have a bit more going for them. I love the hot stone self-cook meals. The one time I ordered such a meal, I got the steak and got to cook it, and my veggies to my liking right in front of me. It was a cool experience, and would like to have it again if I brave the dinner rush once more.

The place is very small, but has a lot of cool character to it. I definitely think it would be a lot more enjoyable if not for the sure-thing crowds.

Arriving in Mukilteo the sun was setting the beer was cold the crowd was huge this was the place. Parking? What parking? Need to find a spot and it can be a hoof if it is a beautiful day like it was. Watch the traffic it can be busy when the ferry comes in. Sat down got the free peanuts and the bartender was ready with my order. I got more samples of some awesome brews. Vienna, Possession Porter, XXX Triple Industrial IPA and Steamer Glide stout was to finish the tasting at Diamond Knot. A traditional old brew pub that has tons of character and fun happening. They had a band playing the food looked awesome and tasted great. The character was awesome of old brewery signs and some that where very rare. They knew there beers and the place was just for adults. They do have a family friendly place that just opened up and I will stop by there when I am in town next time. This is on the water so it can be a great day trip take the family and see the sights and finish with some good brews. The IPA and stout where awesome. I will be back.

I went there with a group today and we all felt right at home. The waitress was personable. While the IPA drinkers opted for the Industrial Strength IPA (7.2 ABV) I started with the Summer blonde, a very very nice and smooth summer ale with a hint of Cascade Hops in the finish, progressed to the Golden Ale which was also great (down one notch from incredible). Then I had a Brown ale. It was extremely smooth and a great session beer for those who don't like a long hop finish. The Brewer brought out a keg of cinnamon spiced brown ( with one pound of brown sugar per batch, so of course I had a pint. Ifyou want this as a dessert beer, especially with a slice of pumpkin pie, its incredible.

The Happy Hour menu includes 12" thin crust pizzas for $5.25 to $6.75 which are great.

While I did not sample the dinner menu, several of my group have, and raveabout their Hot Stone meals.

All in all, it was an outstanding experience.

Just what makes a good brewpub?
"First, the beer. It's got to be great. Then it's got to be comfortable, a place where attitude is checked at the door. That's what nice about this place. Guys from Boeing come in - people up in the hill in their million dollar homes."
That's what Antoine told us one cloudy Seattle afternoon about the Diamond Knot Brewpub.
This brewery/pub is named for a ship sunk in the Puget Sound many years ago and that's appropriate since the "Knot" sits right at the entrance to the Mukilteo ferry (pronounced just like it seems: FAIR-ee.) It's small and can be missed but don't.
Everybody gathers here...after several visits wife Persimmon and I have always left when the pub got crowded and that occurs night and day. And why not? The beer is outrageous...the food incredible...the people, fun.
Here, you can cook your own meat or seafood lunch / dinner at your table on a 750-degree stone slab - (Don't worry - they provide instructions) - and couple it with an unfiltered brew that's sure to please; an Industrial "Buttkicker" IPA, an outstanding ESB, a Brown that's known throughout the Seattle area as one of the best as is their Possession Porter and, if you're lucky, Pat Ringe might be brewing up a batch of their Belgian Wit, or the Industrial Ho-Ho (A special Xmas beer full of toffee and hops and delicious!) Regardless, there really isn't a bad brew in the bunch. Add free peanuts with shells deposited on the floor, a friendly staff, "beer" games like video trivia, a "reading" corner complete with book-stocked shelves for those who prefer to drink in private and then, when it's time, a Budweiser keg for a urinal...
Antoine is right.
It is the perfect place to unwind...and just might be the perfect brewpub

Visited four times. In a "dumpy" old shop very near the Mulkiteo Ferry. (The kind of place I like!) Word has it they physically threw out the local Budweiser distributor and all his products; there are subtle "RIP Budweiser" displays around. Several beers on tap. Their website brags about their IPA. I wasn't too impressed with it; too much residual malt, almost cloying, but with enough bitterness to balance.
I then tried their "Bitter". Not a bitter in the British sense, but a creamy, very aromatically-hoppy brew, with some grassy hop notes. Very nice beer.
