linkDetroit Beer Company is located in downtown Detroit, and it was a short walk from my stop at the local Greektown Casino. The neighborhood was not as questionable as I would have expected, which was nice.
The beer was about average, but certainly a drop off from many of the other Michigan breweries I visited on this stop. There aren't too many options while staying in Detroit, though, so if you're in the area it is worth a visit.

linkGood location about 2 blocks from Ford Field and Comerica Park. Located downtown so lot and some street park available. Basically a main bar area with a few small tables. Upstairs a U shaped bar, with more tables for larger parties.
Overall, a pretty good menu with lot of different options, beer cheese soup had a little bit of kick to it, burgers and mac & cheese and andouille were all good selections.
Winter warmer seasonal and porter were good selections. Chocolate lager, red, ipa were all decent but nothing super special.
Samples can be various sizes depending what you want to order, $1 per glass.
