I have been here 3 or 4 times, but not for at least three years. What happened to the crowds?

This is now a single level bar, the upstairs section has been converted to a dance club. The space is nice with a great high ceiling. I has a great worn, lived in bar and floors. There are plenty of snugs in backroom.

They were playing country on the sound system. They now only have live music on the 1st Thursday of every month.

The bartender is very friendly and seemed glad to speak with customers. Seems to know a bit about beer.

The beer selection is mediocre at best. There are 10 taps with Smithwicks, New castle, Guinness, Blue Moon, Zigenbock, Lite, the AB seasonal Pumpkin), Harp, and Bud, Shiner Bock.

They also offer 12 macro bottles and 3 ciders. The best of the bottles are Dos Equis and Killians.

No food, so eat before you go!

This is not a bad bar, but not a beer bar by any stretch of the imagination.
