Although the decor was a little tacky, I was charmed by this place. Crabby Larry's is a fairly small family restaurant with good food and service. I certainly had my doubts when I sat down for dinner, but I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty surf-and-turf fare and the nice variety of beer. I had a sampler of their 8 beers, and I gave high scores to 6 of them! The strong Bombs Away Double IPA (11%) was truly great, and I was also very impressed with the DMW IPA, Dani's Dubbel, Hefeweizen, and Raspberry Wheat. I found their Stout and Golden to be average. If Crabby Larry's were near my house, I think I'd be a regular. They are only open half the week, so check their website for days/hours. This is a great example of why BeerMapping.com is useful website... Crabby Larry's is a nanobrewery diamond-in-the-rough that I probably wouldn't have found on my own. I've never seen Crabby Larry's at regional beerfests, and I doubt they have any plans to expand, but I wish them well because they are skilled at crafting good beer.

linkLarry is not crabby. Stopped here for a beer on the way back from a trip that included Victory in Downington and Rock Bottom at King of Prussia. Only had one beer, but it was the best on the trip. Only sampled their lighted, the Golden Treasure, which was very good and made me want to come back. Only a handful of beers on tap, and they brew in small batches, so the beer is always freash. Was there before the dinner crowd came out, so Larry or his wife told us about their brewing and history. Will go back.
