Fado Irish Pub is conveniently located with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Street parking can be a little challenging, but it is a nice area. Fado's architecture of segmented rooms and wonderful woodwork create the warm and inviting atmosphere of an authentic public house. The 20 chair wooden bar is partitioned into sections by panel dividers. There are 13 beers on tap, mostly typical European imports, which include all the usual Irish beers. They also have a very fine selection of whiskeys. There are several overhead televisions for sporting events such as European football. This Fado's has a nice patio area with several tables. The service is friendly with Southern charm, but in a European atmosphere. Fado's Austin is part of a chain of a dozen Fado Irish Pubs across the US, and is worth a visit.
