linkTyler's in Carrboro was a bright spot in the rough when I first started getting into craft beer. I had my first taste of a lambic here as well as this location being the place where I really grew to love NC brewed beer.
I can remember sitting at the bar while we discussed the closing of Cottonwood as well as the fate of another NC brewery that succumbed to an infection problem. I have fond memories of Tyler's and the adjacent Speakeasy.
Definitely a can't miss spot if you live nearby. Tyler's in Carrboro is eclipsed a bit by it's bigger/younger brother restaurant in Durham. But this location will retain a very warm spot in my memories.
