Belmont Station occupies a classic one story brick building, in this case, painted dark beige, with large windows in the front wall, including small celestory windows going all the way to the ceiling. The larger section on the right houses a bottle shop while on the left is a pub.

The pub is low-key and has a traditional atmosphere. Heavy metal stools line the basic dark wood bar. There is no real bar back, but the wall behind the bar is yellow and almost completely covered by contemporary beer signs (both for imports and craft beers) - in metal, mirrored, as framed posters, plus a couple neon signs.

The wall opposite the bar is painted a deep magenta and is covered with historic beer items - framed Schlitz ads, plastic Olympia lighted signs, etc. Further along the wall is a large display of tap handles.

Also next to this wall are a few small oak tables with bentwood chairs. More of the same tables and chairs occupy the front of the pub area by the windows.

Floors are painted concrete. The ceilings are fairly high and painted black. Lighting is provided by conical frosted glass fixtures hanging from the ceiling.

There are several black metal mesh tables with market umbrellas set up on the front sidewalk providing for pleasant and shady outdoor seating in the summer.

The beer selection is very impressive. There were 19 beers on tap (all Oregon Craft beers on our visit), including three on cask. A printed beer list gives a brief description of each of the beers.

Mostly standard pub-grub food is available. We didn’t try anything, but the locally made hand-held pies sounded intriguing (curried potato, vegan jambalaya, spinach/artichoke/feta, and zucchini/mushroom/cheese).

One of the best beer selections I've ever seen (John's Marketplace tops it, I think), along with quite helpful and knowledgeable staff in the bottle area (and this is where Belmont outshines John's, I think).

My only ding on the service comes in the bar area, where I found the staff a bit short with customers during my first few visits. Once my face became familiar, there was a noticeable shift in demeanor. It's also possible that I caught them have a few slightly sour days, so I didn't dock the service that much.

It can’t much better than this place. 750+ beers to choose from and some of the best beers in the world are found here. The beers are kept in great shape and under UV lights so no light issues and they seem to be kept very fresh. The place looks great and they are very friendly to help out. I have found some great beers here and the hard to find beers they keep on sale with limited amounts so everyone has a chance to buy these special beers. This is a must for any beer lover.

Awesome store to fill your refrigerator! They have a very decent variety of kegs to stock your kegerator (when that homebrew just isn't quite ready for your party!). A most excellent selection of craft beer and imports to choose from. Very friendly service with a very knowledgeable staff. They also have a great selection of meads and ciders available. Some wines, as well. I highly recommend visiting this store.
