Stopped in here while passing thru Philly last weekend. Nice little selection and the help was helpful. He was able to grab a few bottles from the back for me.

Mostly singles with the PA laws and all, but had a lot of stuff that I couldn't get back home.

It is a small place and parking can be a challenge if you're not from the area but its worth a stop if close by.

Ostensibly a deli, the only real reason to go to the foodery is their beer selection. They have 10-12 full size refrigerators with singles of more beers than I've ever seen (over 800 according to their website). They sell them either as singles or as a mix-a-six (with 10% off the cost of buying them singly). It's a great place when you want to try a bunch of new beers. It's a bit on the expensive side though.

Very cool place. I thought the prices were a bit steep, but where else can you find the selection of singles like this? On a visit from the West Coast, I had to get some beer to smuggle home. Good selection of American micros, the Belgians I was hunting for. Picked up 18 11 and 12 oz bottles and the tab ran about $75. 6 Belgians and 12 micros that I never tried before. They also had some cool sodas, including vanilla cremes and birch beers.
