Edit 2009: Among the best selections in the city, several rare items not found elsewhere. Service was great, they got us 2 boxes for all the singles & 750s we were buying.

Nice walk-in cooler setup, easy to find, located just past the registers. A few cases were stacked just outside the cooler door too, Smuttynose Summer Weizen.

Pretty extensive selection here, of both local micros and imports. More full lines from Central Waters, New Glarus, Lake Louie, including a few limited offerings. This was the only place in town I saw Sand Creek Oleator for example. Imports were loosely organized by country of origin. Micro bombers had their own area near the door too.

Checkout was friendly, cash only was odd, but the free ATM with ticket voucher was only a minor delay. Affordable produce, cheese curds and Carr Valley cheese here too.

Jenifer Street Market is best described as your local neighborhood grocery store. Upon entering the smells of freshly baked breads and fresh juices greet your nose. The smell of smoked meats wafts from the deli counter.
The beer is located in a walk-in cooler to the right of the checkout lanes. It is freaking cold in there.
The beer selection is very impressive for a mid-sized grocery. You could probably come here and find all the beers you planned on finding, as well as that gallon of milk and those birthday candles.
The prices are reasonable and there always seems to be plenty of parking.
As for the service? You have to remember that this a grocery store. I would expect that you would pretty much be on your own in the beer department. Now if you need help finding the toilet paper...

if you're not a local and hesitant like me... you'll need to have some patience with this place... approaching it, it looks industrial... there's an ice cream company and some truck bays there in the back... but take a loop around to the parking area of the jenny st. market and you'll be damn glad you did, specially with this heat...

beer selection is very good, prices were decent, not woodmans decent, but very good... maybe a quarter to fifty cents off woodmans, woodmans is hard to beat tho... they have lake louie, they have founders, bells, tyranena, great waters (most of the local beer) a couple that have since been long gone, and a handful of others....

the atmosphere is heaven in this hell of a heat.
the store itself is cold... the beer is kept in a even colder fridge with sliding doors, the section for that fine beer is directly ahead of you as you walk in, but I strongly suggest giving the grocery store a walkover, it's pretty freakin nice, and the a/c don't hurt neither. there is some warm beer surrounding the doorway to the cooler, but just specials and the like.

I didn't need service, once you know where to go, that's all the service you need... this place is manual free for need of instruction.
