There is definately a true local following at this place. Everyone makes you feel right at home here. The food is done very well and usually gets to you very quickly, the stout steak skewers are incredible!

I don't know which was better the Kolsche or the IPA. I am kinda partial to IPA's right now, maybe it is a summer kind a thing. It is nice to share a beer with a freind outside on the deck. With all the rain we have been having in CT the umbrellas are very usefull!

Well worth a little extra time in the car to reach this newer CT brewpub. Friendly staff and customers make anyone feel right at home in the pub. Food and service are above average for a typical pub but so are the prices. Their beer selection usually consists of about 6 of their own beers which are all very well crafted and a few other guest micros. Plenty of big screens for all the sport fans, this is a place you can go to what the game.


One of the top pubs in CT and I hear they are expanding to a second location so they can brew to package for sale in package stores. The owners were one of the main drivers in pushing for legislation to allow growlers to be sold from the brewpubs in CT. The Cambridge folks also pushed to get the laws changed so brewpubs could distribute beer the same as breweries were allowed to in the state.
