Liquor Mart is one of the best stocked stores in the state. They carry a very fine selection of US micros, plus an extensive list of imports. If you can't find it in the coolers, you're welcome to go behind them to take a look at the back stock. In the mood for something outside of beer? Their wine selection is exceptional.

Liquor Mart gets very busy. Especially when the college students are in town. The high traffic tends to overwhelm the staff, so it's best to go in knowing what you're looking for. Go in on weekdays to avoid the weekend rush.

Prices are decent, but not spectacular. There's always something good on sale.

excellent selection of both local brews, regional brews, and worldwide brews. definitely worth the trip, if you're in town, to go drool at their wide selection. friendly service, good prices, especially on their belgians (la folie was about a buck cheaper here than anywhere else, and their others followed suit). they didn't carry any of the cantillon beers when i went there, unfortunately. their wine selection is impressive, although i didn't go far in to it. liquor selection was also very nice. pretty quick service in and out. i called the beer manager before i went to get a "shopping list", and he was more than happy (and knowledgeable) to fax me one. staff on hand in the beer selection part was friendly and knew their stuff!
