I stopped there with some friends on the way through town. It was just as they opened so it was empty and we were waited on quickly. I had the beer sampler which included 7 beers, mostly lighter stuff but all tasty.

The food was also good and the optionhad s included a good variety. I had the chicken salad. I liked the big chunks of chicken but it was a little under seasoned. .

Visited the Bullfrog Thursday, 4/5. Had the Ruby Doomsday pale ale - loved it. Rico pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries were great. Convenient parking down the street in public lot - watch that you park in a metered spot and not a spot for permit parking. Mind the time on your meter as there was someone handing out parking tickets and we got to our car just as the time expired.

Using the project info we stopped at the Bullfrog on a weekend trip a few weeks ago. It was a Sunday morning and we stopped there for brunch and a beer. We were very pleasantly surprised by the beer selection (we especially liked the Edgar IPA) and the food and service were excellent. To top it off they had a jazz trio (excellent). Williamsport PA! Who woulda thought?

We stop here every chance we get, the beer is excellent, its a family friendly atmosphere, we often take our young son along, and the food is great, they even have some good vegetarian options which we always choose. I never leave without a filled growler, usually the Edgar IPA. Haven't had a bad beer here yet, we've always received good service, I'm happy to recommend the Bullfrog to anyone, its well worth a visit.

I was here once while visiting a friend. This was the only brewery around at the time and overall they served above average beers. The atmosphere and service were average. If I remember correctly stick to the basics such as the red and pale ale. I must say that it has been over ten years since I visited so things might have changed. Based on that time, I wouldn't make a special trip to come here from afar but if you are passing through and are thirsty, stop.

Let me start off positive: The 2 beers I've had there were great! Only reason why I haven't had anymore is because I haven't been back after the abysmal service I received on my last visit.

I understand it's hard to get to everyone when the bar is crowded, but I literally made 'eye contact' with both bar-tenders while seated at the bar, and they just turned away. I sat for 45 minutes (at the bar!) and still could not get a pint. (I'm 6'4", 310 lbs...not tiny by anyone's imagination...no one is going to overlook me). I finally said 'good-bye' and got one of the bar-tenders to acknowledge my existence.

Other than that, the beer selection looks great...too bad I'll never be back to try the rest of them, and good luck with the service if you end up there!

Good beers, particularly the Edgar IPA and the Susquehanna Oatmeal Stout. A little bit for everyone, including Belgian styles. Usually six to eight "staple" beers with four to five others rotated into the lineup, not the same all the time. They usually have one or two guest kegs, with some exotic stuff occasionally. Food is pretty decent, ranging from wings (the "Inferno" are about as hot as you want) to sandwiches to entrees. Non-smoking from opening until 10PM. A great place to go to when in Williamsport!
