Excellent tacos, the brisket was pretty amazing. I’d go back for more in a heartbeat. The al pastor was also great, well seasoned, juicy and flavorful. A chicken mole special was also moist and tasty. They were served on homemade griddled corn tortillas, and held together well. Creative toppings like pickled red onions, cotija cheese, and grilled pineapple on the al pastor.

Service was excellent too, it was a family operation and everyone was super friendly and helping out. They asked how the food was. We asked about a Triptych beer that had been on tap earlier, but it had already kicked. The owner heard that and put on a new Triptych keg just because we asked, which was really cool. Top notch service, unparalleled in my experience.

The space is clean and utilitarian, no frills but a nice atmosphere. There’s no bar here, counter service only. Good prices on food and beer, high quality stuff. Drafts from Hand Of Fate, Triptych, TG, Founders, Stone, etc. I’ll make a point to return whenever in downtown Springfield, it’s right by a few other beer places like Floyd’s, Craft, Buzz Bomb, and Anvil & Forge.
