Worth a stop if you're in the springs. It's cool inside, and has a very.. I don't know how to describe it.. Classic rock type of feel. Their taplist was essentially their normal line up, with some offerings on nitro, so that wasn't all that exciting. From what it seems though, they occasionally have other, more one-offish, type beers on tap every so often. Otherwise, it's pretty run of the mill. Their beers are solid, and have won some awards. I personally love their oatmeal stout.

Overall, good beer, good atmosphere. While not overly remarkable in any way, it's definitely a great place to grab a pint.

10/23/09 early afternoon visit. I've never been to a brewery like this one - quite unique modern looking bar. On-street slant-in parking, facing North (brewery is on the East side of Tejon), but had no problem with u-turn into a spot. Bar is in the front-brewery in the back, in a commercial space. Great selection of beers were on tap, bartender was friendly and helpful, providing samples and directions/instructions to get lunch (taco stand is in the hallway between bar & brewery with limited hours listed on the website). During our visit they were selling mostly kegs and growlers, but seemed quite family friendly-provided the kids can sit at a tall chair (tables in addition to bar) or remain in a stroller). Appeared to be no smoking. Not obvious if there was a parking lot or more likely park on-street nearby & walk. Enjoyable visit, great beer, with very limited food.

I stopped in one morning shortly after they opened at 10. The staff (one person) was just setting up for the day and didn't really have time to talk. As it was early, and the bartender didn't seem interested in serving me, I decided not to have a pint.

I didn't get a tour either. The bartender said they require advance notice at least a couple days ahead of time to get a tour.

Only 5 beers on tap, nothing particularly interesting. They had a bigger selection available in cans or kegs. The beers are pretty available in Springs and somewhat available in Denver, but probably rare beyond that.

I grant that a visit later in the day, or on a weekend, might have been more interesting. On my one visit, however, I found no particular reason to be there, much less go back.

What a special brewery. The beer is excellent -- but the staff is even better! These guys are dedicated to the craft and host special events (cask-strength ale fests (Firkin' Fests), are willing to discuss the brew process, will give you a tour of the brewery (pretty routinely). The location is very interesting -- gives the place quite the character ... if you want to see a true craft beer brewery, I'd visit this place ... and leave with several pints of their Imperial IPA!

This person needs 3 or more reviews on the site for their scores to start counting.

I've had plenty of their beer, but have only been to brewery once. We went during a special event and it was super crowded, so I can't give a very accurate review of the location itself. Seems like a great place to hang out when it's less crowded.

I can say, they are hands down the best craft brewery in the Colorado Springs area. My favorite is the Edge City IPA. It has all the hoppy flavor but goes down smooth like butta! Unfortunately, it's a crap shoot as to when it's on tap.
