linkYou catch the Paddled Pub in the parking lot behind Climate City Brewing. Before you depart, you select your brews for the voyage from the current craft offerings inside Climate City. (You can choose a cider or wine alternative if you choose). The Pub Paddler then ices the selections and you board the van to the river. The pub itself is a pontoon raft with a 12 seat split bar. After "putting-in" the raft heads out to some calm water and the Paddler serves selected beverages, veggies and typical bartop snacks. Then it's off for a 3-4 hour paddle/float down the scenic Rogue River with your Paddler doing all the work. The trip includes up to 44 ozs (2 crowlers) of craft brew and great views of the wildlife and other river riders. There is only one potty stop and no swimming along the way so plan ahead. After the river trip, the van returns you to Climate City where you can enjoy their food and more brews. A bit costly, but lots of fun.
This company also operates The Torpedo Bar in Merlin, OR as an after float stop-off for river rafters. Open for drop-ins, Wednesday to Sunday during the summer months.
