I have been to Brewery Creek a couple of times. It is not a place for "Beer Drinkers" out for a pint or two. They EXPECT you to eat, and it doesn't seem they want you to linger after eating to sample more brews. The owner (or at least the guy that seemed to be the owner) was unpleasant and rude. The service was OK but not great. The food was very good and the beer was decent. I would go back for a pint, but it doesn't seem like that is the type of business they are looking for... If you are looking for a decent meal, consider stopping, if you are just looking for a pint - go elsewhere.

We stayed at the Brewery Creek Inn on our recent trip through Wisconsin. This was a fantastic place to stay! Rooms were modern and comfortable, with exposed stone walls and great decor. The owners run the Inn and the Brewpub downstairs...word of warning for those who want to stay and drink beer: The pub closes before 9:00 pm, and only open for lunch on Sundays.

The pub itself was very rustic, located in a very old stone building on the ground floor. Exposed stone walls and heavy beams make for a wonderful old-fashioned feel to this place. Service was great and the food was good. Perhaps the best bread pudding I have ever had.

They serve anywhere from 2 to 5 beers at the pub. I got to try the pale ale, stout, alt and shandy. The alt was the best to be had, very true to style. I'm not a huge fan of the shandy, but this was refreshing and much, much better than Leinenkugel's version. They don't have a sampler, but our server earned his tip by giving me a sample of each beer. Not the best beers in the world, but a fun gem of a place.

We followed directions we got from on here and they were not helpful at all. It says to take the exit towards Ridge St. There were 3 exits on the hi-way for the town, but no signs saying anything about Ridge St. We ended up just going on to the next destination, so if you are looking to go here, get a better map of the town. From the other review on here I would have really liked to have checked it out. Perhaps another time Brewery Creek, we may meet.

Mineral Point has one of the neatest downtowns which is nestled in the middle of Southwestern Iowa County, Wisconsin. This is a small but romantic brewpub with great food which is prepared with care and hand-crafted beers. The service is average and the ambience is nice. Smoking is not allowed so this may be a good or bad thing for you. Not quite Family Friendly with parking always available on the street. A great place to eat and down a few hand made beers! Haven't tried their many romantic and fancy Inn rooms but here they are splendid!
