This is quite a nice little gem just off the touristy Gas Lamp District. They have about a dozen of their own on tap plus a couple of guest beers. I tried their Hypemachine (single hopped with Nelson, North East Style IPA) and the Coffee Imperial Stout. Both were very good.

They have real entrees that are a step up from typical pub grub. The building is a converted house; kind of rambling with multiple rooms. It’s four blocks from the Gas Lamp District and its Friday’s & Spaghetti Factory. Point the tourists in that direction. It’s also two blcoks north of Petco Field, which I assume means that it gets crowded during Padre home games.

I will return.
