Resolute Brewery can be missed...that is, it's a bit hard to find since it sits in a residential community. There is no strip mall here...a few businesses set aside on a slight rise with the brewery dominating.

A Labor Day weekend brought us here thinking most people would be up in the Rockies with their camp stoves, tents and mosquito sprays. We were wrong. The place was alive with activity and yet, we were promptly attended to by a friendly, personable waitress.

6 beers on tap and only 1 IPA! (What???) Hallelujah! No fighting my way through thick groves of pine tar and grapefruit only to wipe my tongue on a nearby shirt. There was an Amber, Brown, Porter and Session that were all very nice...the brown especially had a delightful spiciness to it that set it apart from the others making it the stand-out for me.

Snacks were available as well; flavored nuts and popcorn. A lovely little outside seating area as well and although overlooking the parking lot, the place is surrounded by trees and makes it possible to forget for a moment or two, you're only 100 yards from a busy street.

Resolute is committed, they say on their web-site, to crafting quality beer over quantity and want to give back to their community of Centennial.

I can't speak to one since I'm not a resident...but as to quality, they're on the right track.
