As the name implies, this is a restaurant and bar that was built into a retired firehouse located in Old Town Alexandria. The interior has a rustic look, with lots of brick, dark wood, and narrow rooms. The closest public transportation is King Street metro which is a good walk. There is street parking that seems to always be full, and parking garages spattered around the area.

The beer list isn't that long, but they do carry craft beers, most of which are from the metro area, which I think makes this place worthy. It's hard to find a place where the majority of their taps are local beers. They also have cask available.

The food is upscale and fancy. You can grab a burger but it's going to have some fancy words in the description. Not that it's a bad thing. There is also a separate bar and restaurant menu.

Overall this is a place worth checking out, especially if you aren't from the area and want a good sampling of local beers.
