linkI stopped at Brass after having seen it several times after going to a movie at the AMC. I was curious, so we made a special trip.
The first thing I noticed was the poor reception. The place looked nice and I liked the atmosphere immediately, but the hostess was not very welcoming.
My wife and I tried the beer because of course that was the main reason we came. I got the porter and it was not to my liking. It just didn't have the bold flavor that I was looking for. I don't remember what my wife ordered, but she was also unimpressed.
The food was decent but it was way too expensive considering the tiny portions.
I will not be going back to Brass ever again.

linkBRASS is located walking distance from the AMC30 Movie Theater, which makes it a nice place to grab a drink or two while waiting for a movie to start. Other than that, it's sort of on the edge of town. The crowd is mixed because of the attached restaurant, which is expensive - and the bar area filled with televisions showing sports. On the weekends, there are often solo musicians in the corner of the bar. The owner tends to walk around and greet the patrons.
The food is expensive - I've only been to the restaurant side of the establishment a few times. I remember thinking that for the money, I could go somewhere better... but that's not to say the food was bad by any means.
Onto the beer... For the most part, BRASS is comparable to RAM. They have their standard offerings of a Pilsner, Pale Ale, Amber, Porter, etc. The difference is that BRASS's seasonal selections are really, really good. I've had their Scottish Ale, Winter Warmer, Oktoberfest, and Mai-Bock-- all of which were excellent.
I'd stay away from their restaurant section unless you're looking for a really nice evening out. Definitely stop in for some of their seasonals, though.

linkThis fine restaurant / brewpub is always releasing a small but fine selection of craft beers! Stop by the bar to have a smoke / watch some sports and order dinner at the bar or just a glass of beer. The dining area has formal booths which give you a nice private area for eating. Try ordering the sampler which comes looking like a sculpture. The menu is a little pricey but you do get what you pay for. Truely Gormet food and beers!
