Red Door Brewing Co.

As of this writing, Red Door Brewing Co is a 1 year old brewery that has sprung into the scene with good beer, and tasting room supported with a 7 bbl system brewing as much as 2 times a week.

The most popular beer is Roamer Red (appropriate for me) by far, followed by Threshold IPA or Unhinged cider.

I can see how the Roaming red is the best seller, It is full bodied with a complexity not normally found in a Red. It is an easy replacement for IPA which generally are the most popular beers of the West.

I had the Anniversary double Red expecting to be a version of the Roamer. It was a completely different beer, high IBU and alcohol with malty nose.

The intro Milk Stout was very good!!

Beers are served in 5, 10 and 16 oz. pours. Fuve oz. are $2.50, pints are $4.50. There is a 3 beer limit.

The space is open, relaxing, with attentive bar help and outdoor seating. The barman’s comment was we try to keep it low key, it is a brewery not a bar. Dogs are allowed in and out. Even at only one year of operations, it has a regular cliental. ,
