The Boxing Bear was by far the best brewery we went to in our week stay in Albuquerque. They’ve been open less than a year and have a winning formula that I hope continues. They have 12 beers on tap (really one is a cider). Beers are $1.50 for 4 ounce sample. They also have 10, 16, and 22 ounce beers as well as bombers and growlers. They don’t have a big food menu but what they have is as good as their beers. They have one of the best beer gardens/patios I’ve seen in this country. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a separate smoking area and plenty of free parking. They keep their 10 barrel system busy with all those beers. And my favorite part, they have a connected home brew supply store right next door so you can have a great micro brew then get the ingredients to make your own.
