Located just a block from each other or two breweries in this commercial park area. Young Veterans is located in a tall one story orange brick building with dedicated parking in front. Their sign is in green and white letters over a green awning over the entrance. They do not have a kitchen, but a food truck is parked out front. Inside they have a compact tasting room with several composite tables. Around the perimeter are military hardware and copper artwork decorations. Background music is playing and there is one television for sports. In the next room is a walk up service bar, where they have boards on the wall listing their 6 house beers on tap, and the signs are stenciled in military style letters. The beer is generally well-crafted and flavor forward, and I was especially impressed with their IPAs. Naturally, the names of their beers are military themed. They sell by glass, sampler flight and growler. The staff is pleasant and moves quickly to serve the stream of patrons. Out back is a roped off patio area, accessible by walking back through the brewery and out a large open white garage door. They have picnic tables and wooden spools for additional tables. Also, they have corn hole games for entertainment. The brewery itself has 3bbl stainless steel pot brewing vessels and midsize 15bbl stainless steel fermenters. The brewery feels cluttered, and if they continue to do well, they'll eventually need more space.
