Very nice, quaint pub in the mountains. Some good views of the local mountains from the main dining area. Fresno Dome is easily seen. It can get crowded at times. The owners are planning outside seating in the spring.They offer 4-5 beers of their own creation at this time. The Brewer is hoping to increase this later. The Blond is OK, the Pale Ale and IPA are very good. The 1864 Ale just came on tap and is a good red ale. The porter is roasty and the Imperial Stout is well worth a taste. They serve some very interesting guest beers to complement the house brews. There is also a good root beer that is brewed on premises for the non drinkers.
The menu is small but is growing. There are 2 salads, a couple of sandwiches, pizzas, and house made chips. There are daily specials added to complement the choices.
For Oktoberfest the Chef made beer rocks and brats.
The service is unique in that you order at the bar and then seat yourself. At times this can be cumbersome with the lack of seating. The bartender and servers do a good job to help.
