High Cotton Brewing occupies a dilapidated one-story brick building in a run down industrial area. Just a block down the road is Memphis' legendary historic Sun Studio. The front facade is wooden with large windows and green trim, but you can not see inside. The other units of this building appear to be shuttered. This brewery is not open to the public and there is not much to see here. The back of the building appears to be where they bring in the raw materials. It has a large corrugated steel garage door, and pallets for spent grain are outside. There is a black and white sign on the door that says High Cotton Brewing. I found a couple of their beers on tap in the Memphis area, a mediocre stout and a drinkable biere de garde. This brewery will have to try a little harder if it is to grow.
