We visited Highway 1 about a month ago. The dining room is straight ahead when you enter and the bar is in a separate room to the left. The bar area includes a good size L-shaped bar as well as tall tables, standard tables and a lounge area by the corner fireplace. There is a large walk through across from the bar that provides a good view into the brew room. When we visited, there were 5 house brews on tap and I went with a sampler. All the selections were good or better and I particularly enjoyed the Pug Mug (Black IPA) and the Peg Leg porter. There are large windows in both the bar and dining room looking out across the highway to the ocean providing great sunset views. We visited in mid afternoon so we didn't try the food selection. There is plenty of parking out front and the beer garden is open during good weather.

My friends and I were driving up from Santa Cruz back to Berkeley on the 1, saw this brewery and decided to stop. It was a great decision!

I had the 1PA which was awesome, I wish I would have gotten the Peg Leg Porter because that looked great.

Whatever beer you get make sure to order the deep fried buffalo cauliflower. I was skeptical at first but they were amazing!

The only downside is it's basically in the middle of nowhere, (just before pescadero beach going north if I remember right) so if you plan on going make it a day trip up to a beach up there and eat here afterwards.

As a side note if you're from Santa Cruz just say so because we got hooked up with a local's discount!
