Three Brothers Brewing is housed in an old bottling plant just north of downtown Harrisonburg. The tasting room is spacious and has ample viewing of the brewery floor. I had a flight of their brews which contained a rum barreled Belgian dubbel, a brown ale, a vanilla porter, a brown ale and a regular porter. The brown ale and the porter were excellent, the vanilla porter was a bit too candy-like for me and the rum barreled dubbel was too boozy for my taste but my bride enjoyed it. I also sampled their IPA and found it to be good. I was at the tasting room on a Friday afternoon and it seems like the brewery is a happening spot in Harrisonburg. The spot is family friendly and I will definitely stop in again when I'm in the area.
