Marietta Brewing occupies a 3-story brick building with an awning over the front windows. Parking is free along the street, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink in this area. Just to the left of the entrance is their glass enclosed brewhouse, with midsize copper and stainless steel brewing vessels. On a 2nd story above the brewhouse are a few small stainless steel fermenters. It is an efficient use of space in this long narrow city building. The walls are brick painted with beer-themed murals, the floor is old wood, and the ceiling is ornate copper tiling. On the right is a 2-sided 15-chair wooden bar topped with copper. The bar is mirror-backed and has shelves for liquor and glassware. Good background music is playing and there are several the for sports. The place has a lively and social atmosphere, with a cacophony of cheerful conversations. Further back in the building are plenty of dining tables and their kitchen. Their food menu consists of pub appetizers, salads, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, pizza and a good selection of meat and seafood entrees. The bar has 4 house beers on tap, which are available by glass, sampler flight, or growler. Their house beer is hit or miss, with a couple of duds, but I really enjoyed their nicely balanced raspberry wheat, as well as their robust IPA. They also carry a few guest taps of craft beer, as well as some bottled varieties. The staff is pleasant and works hard to keep up with the crowd. This seems to be a popular watering hole with decent food.
