I was really exited to see that there was a brewpub close to my hotel in Manhattan so I had to stop in. The place had a lot of kitschy tin signs and beeriana covering the walls along with some Americana that gave it a bit of a chain restaurant feel. They have a long bar that wraps around 2 walls. The place was busy but the bar was big enough that I found a seat.

The menu has the run of the mill chain restaurant food with salads, burgers, fried foods, fish and chips, etc. The menu had great descriptions of the beers so I decided to focus on them.

I found out that the beer are actually brewed at another Heartland location and they don't brew here at all and when I would ask about a beer on the list the bartender showed me the description in the menu. I tried 3 different beers and they all had very sour astringent quality about them. The oatmeal stout was the last and it was a bit watery on top of the tart flavors and I couldn't even finish it.

They did have all the required brews: a light, a lager, a wheat, a pale ale, a red and a stout but the few that I had were enough. As I left I noticed a good number of people were drinking mixed drinks and I can see why. I don't know if its the lines that were bad or just the house flavor but it was not my favorite.
