I'm glad I held off on a review of this brewery until Rick had time to establish himself and upgrade some of his gear. The beer selection is excellent! The last visit there I had the Monolith, a imperial stout aged in merlot barrels. My tolerance of gluten has dropped in the last few years so having a brewery in the neighborhood with their beers gluten-free (according to the FDA) or gluten reduced (for the cautious celiac) is great, even going so far as calling it the socially responsible thing to do. Ok, I'm off my soap box. The only criticism is that the beers are a little hazy. This is understandable since Rick does not filter his beers. This family oriented. Folks feel comfortable bringing in their children and four-legged friends.

Good selection of beer. A lot of higher ABV stuff, and some specialty stuff (barrel aged for example). They serve sampler trays/options too, which I always like on a first visit to a brewery.

Location is easy (just south of I-70/76 merger on Wadsworth), plenty of parking.

The interior is the only downside, pretty plain. But friendly staff and tasty brews, so they have the two most important things down as far as I'm concerned (just noting this for sake of a full review, as some people care a lot about decor in their experience).

Good tip - Order the pizza pie individual pizzas off the menus that they have there (they don't serve food at the brewery, but have plenty of menus from places that deliver). Good, affordable pizzas, delivered from just down the block.

I'm not sure about the plasma tv comment. Three Floyds might have the best beer out of all the breweries that I've been to and they have a plasma. Can say the same about many great breweries, from coast to coast.

I love this little nano brewery! The bar tenders are always friendly and professional. The beers are all wonderful! Except I tried something they called the static. Like 420 ibus and 16 abv or something insane; it was more interesting than good, never had anything like it, but it was a seasonal.

It is a hole in the wall in a lame strip mall.. They had something like a 80K starting budget and I am impressed with what they did with that. Very good beer!

Brewery Rickoli may not be in the best location, but the beer more than makes up for it. This place has some great British style beers and has a beer machine to serve it off of! My favorite thus far has been the Social Lubricant Scotch Ale. Malty but balanced, it's the perfect way to end a work day. The brewery has a pretty large selection with styles to cater to most tastes. They are brewing a unique series of beer that will be single hopped. The first was pretty tasty, and I can't wait for the following.

The atmosphere is alright and it's nice they provide some free snackage to munch on. they also have some games. The servers are friendly and have remembered me each time I've been in. If you're in the Wheat Ridge area, give them a try.

Wow, that doesn't sound like the place I've been to a couple of times. There were plenty of different beer styles on tap. The beers were very good. I'm not a big hops guy, so I can't speak about the IPA's "we" have come to expect in Denver, but I really enjoyed the M.E.H. Cream Ale, the Aldo Red, and the Rye Stout. I did try The Black Pline from the Beer Engine, and it was very smooth. The atmosphere was relaxed and it smelled like a brewery to me. I enjoy watching a sporting event on TV when out enjoying a brew. Maybe that's just me. Sure, it is in an older strip mall, and is not a place where a lot money was spent on decor. But it is very easy to find, located along a major street, and has plenty of parking in back. Just watch out for the speed bumps! A bus stop is not very far away either. No food menu, but they do have Baker St. pretzels available, and restaurants nearby will deliver food if you're too lazy to go get it yourself or bring it in with you. I will be back and have told many of my beer drinking friends about it. None have told me they were disappointed.

The beer and selection were struggling for average. It's kind of a hole in the wall in a run down strip mall on Wads. The bleach smell was overwhelming and there just wasn't a good vibe. The staff was friendly and prompt but that couldn't overcome the used electronics store feel of the joint. The Disturbed Reflection, double IPA was respectable but fell below what we expect in Denver. It's generic Suburban Sports Bar feel also needed work. There's a reason why the best tasting rooms skip the flat screens, it kills the vibe. Rickoli might be a good indicator that the front range market may have hit the saturation point.
