Stopped in here awhile ago, and it seems they have improved their selection more recently. The store is large, almost too large, and has that empty store depressing vibe. On a Saturday night, there was a line at the register to buy macro cases and tequila.

Beer selection is in the back, some cooler representation but more on the warm shelves. Found some obscure Polish imports here, and left with those. Full lines from staple craft brewers like Founders, FFF, Lagunitas, Dark Horse, Jolly Pumpkin, DFH, O'so, Pipeworks, Revolution, Tyranena, Victory, and more. Beermenus lists 600+ beers.

Service was limited the register, but no complaints. Noticed some old dusty stuff so check dates. Parking lot was on the slightly sketch side, but not bad. Head down the road to Sals and Lunar for the best Villa Park has to offer.

Foremost has really grown their US craft beer list -- they have a lot of brews that you won't find at nearby Sal's or Corner Cottage. The staff is helpful, they let you know the date (and time!) new arrivals will hit the store, and are great at keeping their Beermenus listings updated. They also have a smartphone app to push craft beer, but that doesn't work for Luddites like me...

The store itself is spotlessly clean, bright, wide aisles, lots of coolers. As liquor stores go, it's great atmosphere!

On recent trips, I saw current hard-to-find brews by Stone, Three Floyds, Ommegang, Firestone Walker, all the recent anniversary releases by Two Brothers, a few others. I saw the first Revolution bottles I've ever seen outside of Cook County. Foremost's international selection isn't as good as Sal's or Corner Cottage, but they do have many more Mikkeller and Brewdog choices than those stores.

Prices are generally comparable on most things -- with some exceptions on things that would sell out quickly. The Stone Enjoy By was $8.99 here, whereas it was priced at $6.99 at Binny's. Except, of course, that it had already vanished from Binny's, and Foremost had at least a case of it. At any rate, the buyers seem to cater to beer fans, and staff will bend over backwards to help you.
