Ok to start off with, this place is located down the stairs to your right when you enter.... the bakery, kind of a cool thing there, downstairs they have pretty good selection of taps up, including a randall permenantly afixed to their dogfishhead 60 min IPA. They have a wide range of beers from across the US and regularly have some of the harder to get Real Ale Brewing brands. (like many of their Mysterium Verum line) they do all sorts of special casks to a point that they sometimes line the bar up and down with. their food is normal bar fare, BUT WELL DONE... they make sure its all done as best as they can do. everything seems to be made from scratch and the preztels take like they may have had the traditional caustic soda bath, with which they serve a house garlic dip. if you ever get bored at looking at the lovely arches inside, out side you will see a grotto complete with a tall rock formation under the well shaded but remarkably open sky, and a little stretch of the intricate austin canal system.
