Western Wilmington's N. Union Street has several restaurants and pubs, of which Dead Presidents is absolutely my favorite because of their great beer selection. Street parking is free, but can be challenging at peak hours. Fortunately, Dead Presidents has a small dedicated parking lot. Enter and the dining area with tables is on the left and the bar is on the right. The decor includes many pictures of past US Presidents. The 15 chair bar is three sided, with a second dining room on the far side. The bar has 9 beers on tap, an odd mix of plain bar standards and exciting craft brews. They also have a great offering of about 55 bottled beers, with many new ones from which to choose. The food is more than just pub fare, including a great selection of appetizers and entrees. The atmosphere and service are friendly, making this a great spot for enjoying new craft brews.
