The city of Frankenmuth is a family destination hotspot rich in authentic German culture. There is a good variety of entertainment activities and many restaurants with German influenced cuisine and beer. Sullivan's Black Forest Restaurant is located just across the street from an Adventure Park. It is a tall two-story stand alone building with a large dedicated parking lot. The construction is grey stone and brown wood with green trim, and their red and green Black Forest and Sullivan's sign adorns the building's three-story stone tower. The building is a combination restaurant, pub, banquet facility and game room. Just inside straight ahead is their game room which has several videogames, pinball, darts, and the billiards table. This room formerly housed their small brewery but it closed after the brewmaster moved to Lumber Barons Brewery in Bay City. On the left is the bar room with a 13-chair wooden bar. They have 22 Michigan craft beers on tap, a good selection. Their food menu consists of fried appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pasta, pizza, and several meat and seafood entrees. The service is cordial and attentive. It's a decent place.
