Nice little restaurant and tasting room. Was there on a Friday night and it was absolutely packed. Definitely a local bar as the bartenders were very familiar with most of the patrons the night we were there.

Food focuses on local produce, I had the links 2 3 4 which was a variety of sausages from a local farm.

Beers were heavy! Wasn't quite prepared for that with needing to head home.

Really enjoyed the Kiss Off IPA - very good western style IPA with strong floral notes.

Dead Souls pumpkin porter was a different style not seen all that often and interesting.

They also had 2 versions of their Single Digit Belgian IPA. Not my favorite style but an interesting twist.

Chromancher was a big time quad and very worth a try.

Finally Last Waltz Imperial Porter was a big time porter. Really smooth, dry porter with big time chocolate flavor.

Great local spot to hit if in north Philly.

Been trying to get there for while and it was worth the wait. Tried the Sunrise Mill Saison , Alpha Blackback: Black IPA, Original Slacker Ale, Fatbob XVII, and the Berliner-Weisster Weisster-Berliner. Enjoyed all of them, In addition to the hand crafted beers on tap, they also serve Pennsylvania wines, and local Meads. The Staff was very pleasant and quite knowledgeable. I will be back!

Note: the entrance is located on Wood Street behind the Philly Soft Pretzel Factory .

I previously enjoyed several Round Guys beers at various Pennsylvania beer festivals and was eager to visit their new tap room. At first, I thought I had the wrong address, because I couldn't quite find their entrance. Although the address is 324 Main, you actually need to walk up Wood Street to a side entrance to the tap room. There is street parking along Main and a few municipal lots nearby. I visited in early July before they were fully licensed to sell as a bar, so they only had growler sales, but were generous to offer plenty of free tasting samples from among their 7 beers on tap. They intend to have their full alcohol license and food permit soon, and should be serving lunch and dinner by August 2012. Their tasting room has a 16-chair wooden bar, and the stainless steel brewing vessels are visible through windows behind the bar. There are a few dining tables and high tops, and the complimentary popcorn is nice. The windows let in plenty of light, and the tap room feels rather sparse without much decoration. Their flagship Alpha Blackback IPA is very good, I enjoyed their flavorful Buhnana Hammock Saison, and they also have a wickedly tart Berlinerweiss. Round Guys is a small up-and-coming brewery, and it's one to watch. They're not afraid to create inventive and bold beers. I was thrilled at the excellent, friendly service and I decided to take a growler of Alpha Blackback to go.
