New name, "99 Bottles of Beer"

Stopped here recently, solely for the purpose of getting beer to pair with dinner at New Tokyo up the street at Briar/Broadway.

Ownership has changed, and the dusty shelves of yesteryear are now mostly empty. All the beer is in the coolers, generally 6-packs of US micros/macros, leaning toward more craft. A small handful of Belgian 750s, and a few single import bottles, like Sam Smiths. They do have some 3F and Founders, plenty of Goose as well. I chose Flying Dog Woody Creek White on my last visit. A few craft bombers were there too.

Shop is dingy, sharply illuminated by harsh flourescent lighting. The counter guy watched tv mostly, and was a little touchy when I asked him about the new name of the store. He must have been painfully aware that there weren't actually 99 beers in the whole place.

Skip it and go to Binny's, unless it's after 9pm, or your destination is nearby on Broadway.
