Kraftwork occupies the first floor of a three story brick building. Free parking was is easy to find along the street. There is a wavy metal wrench over the street corner entrance, and the exterior walls are decorated with gears and saw wheels engraved with their hop logo. Outside there are a couple tables along the sidewalk. Inside is a large square room with a 22-stool 3-sided bar constructed of wood and metal. The place has an industrial atmosphere with intentionally dilapidated brick and stucco walls and wooden floors. Decorations include metallic art, gears, and repurposed tools, and the table construction is fascinating. Above the bar is a huge decorative hand saw engraved with their hop logo. Their food menu is deliciously complex with carefully selected ingredients. They have great appetizers, including an exquisite cheese sample plate. They also offer dinner specials, sandwiches, and excellent burgers. They feature a great Weizenbock house beer brewed for them by Yards Brewery. In all there are 25 premium craft brews on tap which rotate frequently. It is a great section from which I discovered several new beers, and I was grateful for the option to create my own 4-beer sampler flight. The service was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable about their food and beer offering. As an engineer, I love Kraftwork's robust style, and as a beer hunter, I was equally impressed by their offering.
