Ulysses is a craft beer bar with about 25 on tap and 3 dozen variety in bottles. Upon entering the pub, I am struck by black & white decor with rectangular motif. The 3-sided 20-stool square bar is stocked with an upscale selection of spirits. The beer selection is a good mix of tavern favorites, craft seasonals, and a few choice imports. They recently added the option to create your own sampler flight from among the draft beer. The food menu has a good variety of appetizers, mussels, pizza, sandwiches, and creative entrees. I am especially impressed with the decadent Mile High hamburger! The service is friendly and very attentive, and my overall experience was better than the average bar. Located in a small strip mall, this suburban pub is not exactly a "hot spot", but it is conveniently located just over a mile from I-95 north of Wilmington.
