This is one of BJ’s brewery locations that is constantly producing great award winning brews including a couple 2008 GABF gold medals. One of the recent medal winners, Octoberfest, was on tap when I visited but instead I enjoyed two other seasonals, Big Fish and Pumpkin Ale. BJ’s standard brews made up the remained for the 10 house taps and there were a few guest beers as well. This BJ’s has pretty typical interior décor with a nice bar and tall table seating in addition to normal booth and table seating for dining. The on-site brewery does make it feel bigger and the brewery operation is more visible here than in their other brewing locations that I’ve visited. The menu is petty much standard BJ’s with a large array of selections from pizza to upscale entrees. Parking is plentiful in the Chandler Fashion Center lot.

BJ's is a family friendly brewpub located on the south side of the Chandler Fashion mall. The beer selection consists of the 7 standard BJ's house beers, all of which are well made. The Pirahna Pale Ale is my current favorite house beer with its big citrusy American hop aroma and flavor. Doc brews several seasonal beers that are very hard for me to pass up when they're on tap, the Belgian Wit called Nit Wit and the Grand Cru. BJ's also has a nice selection of bottled Belgian beers to complement their own beer which is brewed onsite.

The food is fine and what you would expect from a large chain, nothing to bold or out of the ordinary. Lots of sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and salads to choose from.

Service has always been friendly and efficient.
