My wife got us a Groupon for Beer Engine, so it was a good deal and my expectations were low. The place is in Danville, which is a good little town! The actual place was a bit hard time find, GPS led us astray and we had to call the brewery to get directions. Other than that the experience was not to bad.

They had 3-4 beers on tap and had a pretty good IPA. With our Groupon we got a pint glass, a couple rounds and 2 growlers, a nice deal! The place is small but cozy and has a lot of character (the building has been repurposed, has a slightly industrial feel, in a good way). Had some beer cheese and then called it a night.

My only complaint is the growlers they gave us did not hold their seal and my beer was flat when I got home, kind of a bummer.
