Honestly a little disappointed with this beer visit. The location is way down the 4th Street Experience street into the Theatre district. Not the safest walk it did not appear. The actual taproom is awesome, using a corner space to have an inside/outside L-shaped bar. Also had quite a few tables on the patio and plenty of indoor seating.

The food was also really good. The knob hill chicken was great, as was the pretzel and mustard.

The beer was the disappointment. I've had a few of their beers in bottles before with the most common the bourbon barrel stout. This beer was not available on tap. I've also had smoked porter, also not on tap. They did have a decent pale ale. But I wasn't impressed with the altbier, wheat, porter or brown. Equally poor was the service, we asked 3 workers to describe the beers and they kept providing the name of the beer, which provided no description. One seasonal, none of the 3 servers could even tell us the type of beer it was. Seemed to be a cranberry type beer, but I can't be sure.
