We stopped in here for lunch on a weekday afternoon and although they were packed and obviously busier then they anticipated, the service was fantastic. The waitress was so busy but the bartender made sure to come over and get us beers while we waited. They had a great selection of their own beers (Certified Gold, Saison Noir, Anytown USA - ASB, Flowers Infusion, Savin Hill Summer Ale, Simon Saaz-On, Working Woman's Wheat, and a very unique cask of the Savin Hill with Chili Peppers). They also have a ton of guest taps to choose from. The food was fantastic and the service was great! Awesome crabcakes and sandwiches. Very strange frog theme in this town that we felt obligated to research afterwards. The story dates back long ago to the War of the Frogs. Very interesting story. Highly recommend a stop in here.

Visited in March of 2009. The brewpub is inside an old post office building -- has vaulted ceilings and large interior windows. Have been to Willimantic now a few times and the experience is generally consistent.

Several styles on tap and regularly have a new seasonal in the mix. On March visit, had their IPA, Hop River Tribute, and a lighter ale seasonal, Springfest. Both beers were solid.

Food is not stellar, but is alwasy consistently good. On the March visit, ordered corned beef and mashed potatoes -- a seasonal menu special -- which was a great complement to the beers.

Service is always very friendly and cater to kids' needs, as well.

Willibrew is my favorite brewpub in CT by far. Their beers are well crafted and full flavored, especially the IPA's. If their house brews don't tickle your fancy, they have about 20 taps dedicated to other microbrews as well. The trivia game is a real fun time especially if you get a few friends to play, and you can save your score. Oh yeah, and the food? Phenomenal. Sunday night is stein night, you bring in your own and get it filled for the price of a pint!

First off - Great beers, always a good selection on tap with one cask ale that rotates and changes often. The brewpub is located in an old mill town in an old US post office which provides a great atmosphere. There is a small game area that kids can enjoy. In the bar area of the pub they have the NTN trivia game. They only have a few small TV's for sports fans, it's a brew pub not a sports bar!

This place is my favorite brewpub, just wish it was a bit closer to my house.
