Interior was pleasant and cool on a hot day. Wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. Burger was average; the meat was good, but the vegetable condiments were not the freshest. Also, the burgers are way too big. All are half-pound burgers, which is too much food for most people. The french fries, while tasty, are dipped in some kind of batter, so people who prefer "pure" fries may be disappointed.

I had the pilsener, which was surprisingly unrefreshing. It had too much body for a light summer pils, had no fruitiness at all, and the finish was very flat. I almost felt as if I was drinking an ale instead of a true pilsener.

Thee beer was good, the 2 standouts were the Imperial Stout which had a great finish and the Harbor Lights Kolsch Style. Sadly the restaurant left much to be desired, our waiter was too young to drink beer and thus had no opinion of their product, nor did he know anything of the beer making process. We ordered hot wings and received some undercooked nightmares with an oily asian sauce. To top it off their pizza which locals say is good was just ok. Maybe my expectations were too high, I like a good brewery and the food that usually accompanies it, this time I was disappointed but maybe next time will stand out. I will definitely give them another chance.

There are two Wild River locations in Grants Pass, nearly across the street from each other. The Brewery and Pizza location seems to do the brewing but nearly all of the house brews are available in either location. This location has a nice double deck seating area as well as other tables near the brewing and bottling rooms and a few outside. There were at least 10 house brews on tap including a Blackberry Porter and a Belgium Style Black Beer. The menu emphasizes salad and pizza but also includes burgers, pasta and sandwiches. We turned into the large parking lot when we saw the sign on the street but didn’t see a sign on the building so we drove around a bit to be sure. Once you are inside, there’s no doubt.
