One of Appalachian Brewing Company's more recent locations which was opened in 2011. We've visited numerous times and has progressed nicely since it's opening. Staff are pleasant, personable and attentive. Beers are the standard ABC releases and if you are on their email list, they will send you Beer Alerts for their newest releases. Food is good, reasonably priced and you will not go home hungry. Definitely would recommend and will return.

This place opened in May 2011, didn't find out about it until August. It's kind of hidden. I've been to other ABC locations and always liked their beer so I'm exited they opened this location 10 minutes from my house. They have 10-12 of their own beers on tap and they have started on premisis brewing, although very small. The Trail Blaze Organic Brown Ale is my favorite but the Hopy Trails IPA is a close second. They have their own birch beer too. Its a nice open bar/restaurant and the service is excellent at the bar. Never sat at a table so I can't comment there. Food is pretty good too with a nice selection. It's never really crowded, not sure many people know about it. We sat at the bar on a Friday night at 7:30 pm an there were only 2 other people. The restaurant was full though.

Appalachian Brewing Company has 4 brewpub locations, all in Pennsylvania. ABC's standard offering of beers is decent and includes light Mountain Lager, crisp Purist Pale Ale, unfiltered Water Gap Wheat, Hoppy Trails IPA (6.2%, my favorite), Jolly Scot Scottish Ale (5.5%), malty Trail Blaze Brown, and robust Susquehanna Stout. I visited ABC's newest location in October and again in December 2011 when their brewing equipment was just recently operational. I enjoy the ABC beers, so if you've not had them before, I recommend stopping in. When I visited, there weren't many customers, but I'm sure with time, this place will gather a following.
